How to Apply
CleanShield™ is applied with simple sponge applicators. Follow the steps below for consistent results on suitable surfaces.
Clean the surface
Remove dust, grease and residues, then allow the surface to dry completely. Application on a clean, dry surface is essential.
Test a small area
Apply to a small, low-visibility area first and allow full curing. This is especially important on special, aged, coated or sensitive surfaces.
Apply a thin, even coat
Use a sponge applicator, sponge strip or professional applicator. Work in overlapping strokes and avoid pooling — a thin, even film performs best.
Initial drying — approx. 8–10 minutes
Initial surface drying takes approximately 8–10 minutes, subject to temperature and humidity. Avoid touching or wetting the surface during this stage.
Full curing — approx. 24 hours
Full curing takes approximately 24 hours, subject to conditions. Keep the surface dry and undisturbed where possible during curing.
Routine maintenance
Treated surfaces are designed to be easier to clean. Use gentle cleaning methods — harsh abrasives may reduce coating life. Reapply periodically as part of normal maintenance.
