CleanShield Solar creates strongly hydrophobic surface behaviour on compatible panel glass, encouraging water beading and supporting rain-assisted removal of loose dust and surface contaminants.

No. It supports rain-assisted surface cleaning, but inspection and routine maintenance may still be required depending on rainfall, panel angle, soiling and site conditions.

CleanShield™ does not claim or guarantee a specific solar-output or efficiency increase. The Solar PV positioning is hydrophobic surface protection and easier cleaning and maintenance.

CleanShield can be applied to selected porous natural stone including marble, limestone and travertine. Stone response varies, so small-area testing is recommended before full application.

CleanShield can be used on selected ceramic and porcelain tile surfaces. Because tile finishes and porosity vary considerably, a small-area compatibility test is recommended before full application, especially on glazed, polished and low-porosity tiles.

On selected porous stone, CleanShield can form a crystallised / sealing-type protective surface layer that helps reduce water, oil and everyday contaminants from penetrating the protected surface, facilitating subsequent cleaning.

Yes. On suitable treated stone, CleanShield™ can help reduce penetration of oil and everyday contaminants at the protected surface and make subsequent cleaning easier. Performance varies by stone type, finish, porosity and application.

CleanShield™ is water-resistant and can be strongly hydrophobic on suitable treated surfaces. It is not positioned as a structural waterproofing membrane.

The treated surface is typically surface-dry in approximately 8–10 minutes under normal conditions. Temperature, humidity, substrate and application thickness can affect this time.

Full curing is approximately 24 hours under normal conditions.

Hardness after normal curing is approximately 2H. Heat-cured hardness may reach up to 5H under suitable controlled curing conditions.

Property & Facility is a core commercial application market focused on easier cleaning, reduced surface contamination and simplified maintenance across selected glass, tile, stainless steel and other compatible property surfaces.

CleanShield Home applications for selected bathroom glass, tiles, benchtops, stone and stainless steel surfaces are supplied through dealers, retailers and service partners.
