CleanShield Solar is a transparent surface treatment for compatible solar panel glass. It creates strongly hydrophobic surface behaviour that encourages water to bead rather than spread across the treated surface.
As water droplets move, they can help mobilise loose dust and surface contaminants. In suitable rainfall conditions, this supports rain-assisted self-cleaning and can reduce the difficulty of routine cleaning and maintenance.
Important: CleanShield Solar does not claim to eliminate cleaning and does not guarantee a specific solar output or efficiency increase.

Key application information
Clean & dry
Remove surface contamination and ensure compatible panel glass is clean and dry before application.
Apply thinly and evenly
Apply with a suitable sponge or professional applicator. Surface dry is approximately 8–10 minutes under normal conditions.
Allow full cure
Full cure is approximately 24 hours under normal conditions. Observe rooftop height and electrical safety requirements.
